Why Google volume returned in KRPro is different from actual clicks received?
Why Google volume returned in KRPro is different from actual clicks received?
Article
Keyword Research Pro pulls the EXACT keyword volume data from Google's
Keyword Tool.
Google's volume estimates really represent the estimated
number of 'impressions' you'll receive if your keyword was
a 'broad match' keyword in your PPC campaign.
Remember that for broad match keywords, Google will show your ad
for a variety of other related keywords, using its expanded matching
formula.
To find out the number of 'impressions' for an exact keyword, you
can change the settings in KRPro as follows:
Settings > Keyword Analysis > Google volume match type > Exact Match
